Emma Caulfield, the actress who played the vengeance demon Anya in the TV show ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ during the shows 1997-2003 run, has filed for divorce from her husband of four years.

The two were married on August 23, 2006. Caulfield cites irreconcilable differences in her filing, which was made on May 7 in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The split does not appear to be amicable.
