Jenny Nguyen is an Associate Attorney at Smith & Garg, whose law practice primarily focuses on business litigation matters, including Deceptive Trade Practices and contract disputes. Ms. Nguyen also has experience in construction defect, real estate, bankruptcy matters and personal injury matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.

Ms. Nguyen is a native of New Orleans who likes to “Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!” In 2001, she earned a Bachelors of Arts & Sciences degree from the Honors College of Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge. Upon graduation, Ms. Nguyen attended Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans where she earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence, along with a Civil Law and International Law Certificate in 2004. During her time in law school, Ms. Nguyen was involved in numerous activities, which include serving as Minority Council Representative, President of the Asian Pacific-American Law Students Association, and as Teaching Assistant during both her 2L and 3L years. Her internships include representing clients in the areas of mass toxic torts and criminal defense law as a California State Bar certified law intern at the San Diego Public Defenders Office.

Since moving to Houston, Ms. Nguyen has worked at boutique litigation firms representing small and large businesses. Her expertise includes tackling legal issues spanning from corporate formation to civil litigation and post-judgment remedies.
