Three teenagers from Port St. Lucie, Florida were recently arrested on charges of burglarizing a home. They have been charged with stealing at least $30,000 in valuables.

According to reports, a 59-year-old man returned to his home to find an unknown vehicle parked in his driveway with someone inside. The person inside then sounded the vehicle’s horn to, allegedly, alert the other two people in the house. The two men ran out of the house, where neighbors noticed them running and called police.

Police officers apprehended three boys, ranging in ages from15 -17. They were found to have cords and a knife with them. Police also found a laptop, an engagement ring, and a handgun in the boys’ possession. They were charged with burglary and taken into custody.

A 28-year-old from Houston was recently charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl. The man was an employee at a youth center in Katy.

The man met the victim in December 2010 at the youth center. The two developed a relationship and the girl alleges that, later in the month of December, the man sexually abused her at his friend’s apartment.

The arrest of the former employee has brought speculation upon the youth center, as some are worried it is an unsafe environment for children.

The man is awaiting trial and, if convicted, could face several years in prison.
