A 35-year-old Conroe man has pleaded guilty to charges of child pornography and conspiracy to produce child pornography, KHOU reports. The FBI had been tracking the man since 2006 when they traced uploaded child pornography to his computer.

When investigators raided his apartment and took his computer, he was living with a woman and child. The man admitted to having child pornography on his computer. Additionally, there were pictures of the child he lived with on the computer as well.

Authorities say he admitted to having sexually assaulted the child and taking pictures of the acts. He faces up to 40 years for both charges and $250,000 in fines for each.
