What is the organizational structure of an LLC?

As mentioned before, the owners are referred to as members, and typically each member is a manager of the company, or one can be appointed by the members. In order to form an LLC, there are a number of steps that need to be taken in order to be legitimate. The most important thing is that articles of organization must be filed with the state, and must contain specific information, such as the name of the LLC, the purpose for which the LLC was created, the address of the registered agent, to name a few. Once the articles have been filed with the state, a certificate of organization will be issued to the LLC.
